When you have a Server installed and are sure you have the licence right (or are not even sure about that) you should try to run eiserver (or ocsever) from the commandline. for that you need to start your commandline tool of choice
on windows this probably is cmd, on unix boxes you probably are already there.
Go to the directory where you put your documents normally, in windows this is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Optio\ECI77\ (Windows 2000) orC:\Program Files\Optio\ODCS\ (Windows NT)
On unix this most of the time is /user/oeci77/
Note: the last part (e.g. ECI77) is dependend on the version of Optio you have installed
then go into the bin folder. When you are there start ecom integrate by typing
eiserver -v (+ enter)
on the commandline, if this thing works it is ok, if there is something wrong you should get an error, either the license is wrong, or it does not know where to find it.
